Recently I was discussing with a fellow vegetable grower, with far more practical knowledge than me, about what to pop in the ground after the potatoes were out. The next week he gave me a fabulously wrapped set of leeks. Sharing of plant knowledge and plants is what makes growing veg great and I look forward to returning the favour with some plants that I hope will be worthy of a place in his plot.

I just love PEAS! they look fab with their twisting tendrils, I am definitely going to use them in a print. They grow perfectly up pea sticks which I hoarded after a tree surgeon felled some trees along the river. The kids shove them in there lunchboxes to munch on at school. Pigeons love them too so throw over a net. …READ MORE…
