When I started renting the allotment it had previously been home to a few sheep and moorhens. I started of with one long bed growing a bit of everything, I was hooked.

Since then I have added a few more beds, a couple of chickens, a fire pit for cooking marshmallows and a small pond to keep frogs (good slug control).

My growing skills have developed from trial and error and reading vast amounts of gardening books. I have a very green fingered father in law called Michael who is a constant source of growing tips and seedlings! I dont use chemicals and am happy to share a small proportion of my crop to local wildlife!
